EnergizedLib
EnergizedLib's JournalThe new MAGAt buzzword
Fraud.
I see the claim of fraud being cried over everything as justification for cutting all social programs, to the point that the word fraud is becoming meaningless in and of itself.
Widespread voter fraud does not exist, nor were the daycare fraud accusations substantiated, but they sure were used to cut, cut, cut. Nick Shirley isnt some great journalist, just some partisan hack like LibsofTikTok - one looks the other way when the cult leader pardons fraudsters, the other looks the other way when someone from their side sexually abuses children.
The truth is is that none of us have any money. Its all the governments money and government knows how to spend our money better than we do. I am a statist, believe it would be better if we abandoned the belief in any God for a worship of the state, but we need to elect Democrats to do so.
The felon letting states trying to handle daycare, Medicare and Medicaid is a disaster, as these things are better done at the federal level, not the state level, that we have an outdated Constitution and need more social programs, not less, and we also need less war to invest in our citizens.
Its not fraud to look over our fellow people with tax dollars, which is not more important than other peoples well being.
Fraud, as being used, is devolving into a completely meaningless term.
I've never in my life witnessed failure so celebrated
From the just the first four years alone - botching the COVID response, Jan. 6, the 2020 election and the stacking of a sham court that gave us Dobbs.
Now, we have a police state thats killed citizens, that has falsified charges, one of its members has been found to sexually abuse a Nicaraguan woman, no body cams, face masks, trillions added onto the debt, job losses, people losing their healthcare, 13 American troops and more than 100 Iranian schoolgirls are dead. Remember when President Biden was blamed for the Afghanistan debacle and his numbers never recovered? The felons numbers are below 40%, job losses, market losses, gas prices and grocery prices higher, all while trying to steal the midterms and suppress the vote.
And what do we get? The trump-Kennedy Center, trumps own airport in Florida, a street named for the felon, the felons signature appearing on paper currency and on coins for the 250th Anniversary while being allowed to loot the treasury and threatening more wars with Cuba after a very unpopular Iran war that even has the cult divided.
If the felon were an NFL head coach with this kind of epic failure, he wouldnt even last a single season. Presidential historians already rated him either the absolute worst or not far behind before 2024, and all these things are being renamed in his honor and the cultists want that ugly face on Mount Rushmore.
Its unbelievable, it really is. Failure doesnt always get punished, but Ive never seen it so widely celebrated in my lifetime.
The felon wants the ACA replaced
So, from Truth Social, the felon apparently wants the ACA (as he calls it the UnAffordable Care Act) replaced with cash payouts out to the people to buy their own healthcare.
He must really be confident hes going to successfully rig November and suppress the vote, isnt he? As he keeps piling more debt on, markets keep tanking, gas prices, grocery prices soar, we have a deeply unpopular war thats seen the deaths of American soldiers and Iranian schoolgirls, those of us who care about the Epstein Files, the DHS shutdown, a police state which has murdered Americans, at least one sexual assault we know of, no body cams, no masks, healthcare prices already higher, and this clown thinks itd be a good idea right now to tinker with peoples healthcare right now on top of it?
The felon better hope he can tamper, tamper, tamper in November, else MAGA will be drenched in a sea of blue.
My (sad) outlook on America, its values and now
Yes, I admit it. I underestimated the felon in 2016, laughed at the announcement about him running and didnt think it would actually happen once, let alone a second time. I correctly predicted between trump and Hillary whoever got in would lose in 2020. As a Bernie supporter, I wasnt crazy about Hillary, but I still voted for her.
What I wasnt expecting was 2024. I gave the electorate too much credit over trump, hence my underestimation.
We all know the rap sheet about the greatest con artist of all time, a mile long by now. People decided COVID, J6, Dobbs, all the felonies werent dealbreakers. In fact, they felt more compelled to vote for the felon that people tried to actually hold someone rich and powerful accountable for a change. You know, like other civilized countries actually do (South Korea, UK, Brazil, etc.).
And more and more people are waking up to what weve spent years screaming from the rooftops. They thought it would be fun to own the libs, and here they are, theyve owned themselves. People dont care about underage victims of sexual abuse, but those gas prices sure are getting their attention. Inconvenience a partly uninformed electorate in the slightest way and theyll have your head, regardless of all of your transgressions. Dont we have such wonderful values in this country? Our side might win in a bloodbath this year and two years from now. We might even exceed our performances from 2006 and 2008.
Even so, what I nevertheless find unsettling are the how and the why - not because US soldiers and Iranian schoolgirls got killed, not because all of the damage done to this country, not because of the immunity, not because of a corrupt rogue police state, but because theyre feeling some of the pain. What wonderful values we have.
And then theres the cult. I would snap my fingers to vanish them from the planet in a heartbeat if I could. Yet, as loathsome as they are, as despicable as they are, I cant help but find out how pathetic and pitiful they are. There was a time they at least pretended to have some principles - no war, holding child sex abusers accountable, freedom, prices, the debt, etc. Now, I see these loons willing to spend however much money to run up our debt without a care in the world, still supporting their false idol even if he did rape children, being in favor of bombing Iran and not caring about dead American soldiers or dead Iranian schoolgirls all while their cult leader disrespects our servicemen and women by saluting them while wearing his own campaign gear. Theyre willing to pay more in gas over this (which tells me 2021-2025 wasnt really about gas prices, was it?) Then theyll point to how it was worse under President Biden, when they wont look at the whys - why gas went up in 2021 and 2022 compared to why gas is up now.
MAGA isnt about supporting someone who champions their values, theyre a cult around one creature and will gladly change their own values to justify their support.
We might win, we might win big. We could take both houses of Congress this year and run away with the presidency in 2028. What will change? What will actually change? And even if we exceeded our performances from 2006 and 2008, itll still be unsettling as to why voters voted to give us power again - to help *them* and so many being callous enough not to care for anybody else or any other injustices perpetrated by the most sociopathic White House in history.
Theres something in the water here, and not in a good way.
While certainly no fan of Reagan....
I see Iran is denying what the felon said about talks.
With Reagan, it was Trust, but verify.
When it comes to the words of the felon, its Cant trust anything, must verify everything.
Does every country do it better than we do?
How many countries out there have universal healthcare? How many have mass shootings?
Brazil and South Korea hold those who once held power accountable and put them in prison.
Andrew Windsor gets mentioned in the Epstein Files, he gets his royal titles stripped and gets arrested - while Britain's Labour government might face a reckoning over this.
Obviously, Andrew was born in the wrong country. Here in America, he'd have been rewarded with an election to political office if he had an R next to his name. The people in power look the other way over Americans with ties to Epstein, and Epstein's best friend resides not in a prison, but the White House, while the common folk don't care if he sexually abused kids - in fact, they'll trip over themselves to make excuses and justify such actions.
What is wrong with the values in this country?
This is why Black History Month is needed
Some Civil Rights icons stand the test of time - Jackie Robinson, Rosa Parks, MLK, Malcolm X - and I'll throw Thurgood Marshall in there as well.
One story and person I never heard of until this morning was the story of Sgt. Isaac Woodard, who came home from the war 80 years ago today, just for the bus he was riding on the back of due to segregation to come to a stop. Sgt. Woodard asked to get off to use the bathroom. Well, the white bus driver took exception to that, and Sgt. Woodard had the audacity to speak up, wanting to be treated with respect and use the bathroom.
The bus driver relented. That stop. But the next stop, he got off, told police Sgt. Woodard was being drunk and disorderly when he wasn't, and officers beat him so bad with their sticks that it blinded him in both eyes.
Seeing such images and him like this broke my heart, knowing he lived until 1992 like this was infuriating, but it doesn't end there.
Woodard's case led President Truman to integrate the military, and disgustingly, but not surprisingly, an all-white jury acquitted those who beat and blinded him. Yet the judge over the case, Julius Waring, was appalled by the verdict, which inspired him to want to preside over other Civil Rights cases, with his dissent in the case Briggs vs. Elliott calling for the end of separate, but equal and overturning of segregation in schools, which succeeded.
No one taught me about Isaac Woodard in school. Nobody taught me about Judge Waring, and it wasn't until last year when I went to the National Civil Rights Museum in Memphis that I learned the name Bayard Rustin. It wasn't until I was almost 30 that I learned about the Tulsa Massacre.
I think of what the government did this week in removing the Pride flag from Stonewall, which is an attempted erasure of history. I've seen MAGAts defend it by bringing up the Confederate statues being torn down, but I would argue statues are also a celebration of certain of people. Confederates should be acknowledged, they should be taught, but nobody should be celebrating the lives of Nathan Bedford Forrest or Jefferson Davis or any of these other people. Where is the Isaac Woodard statue? His life should be celebrated.
And don't give me this nonsense about heritage - I've got German in mine; doesn't mean I support the dedication of Nazi monuments and celebration of Nazis. In fact, I read an article years ago where Hitler's descendants are refusing to procreate to let the bloodline die out.
It seems many Civil Rights icons like Isaac Woodard aren't taught in schools, and I completed all my schooling before the felon came down the escalator, can only imagine how worse it is now.
What favors are you doing kids by only tooting this country's own horn and never acknowledging its flaws and shortcomings? Isaac Woodard's story inspired a chain of events - the desegregation of our military, a judge upset an injustice to advocate for desegregating schools, one of the most significant court rulings in our country's history, and so on and so forth. Whitewashing history, and not teaching all (the good, bad and ugly) won't inspire kids to avoid repeating America's past mistakes.
And if people are offended or feel divided by Black History Month, then that's their problem. Maybe they're privileged, because as a straight, white man, I've never been discriminated against on any of those accounts. I don't know racial epithets or any hardships I might've had if I looked different or loved somebody different. We had to have Constitutional amendments in the 13th, 14th, 15th and 24th Amendments just to correct some of our country's injustices.
To think, some people want the Civil Rights Act of 1964 repealed, they want to whitewash history and refer to things they don't like as "woke." Well, you can't tell the story of America without telling the story of its many racist and heinous acts towards non-white people, and many people took their mask off since the felon happened to walk into our lives in 2015.
Thank goodness we have Black History Month, because it's a long, complicated history with a lot of ugliness and setbacks, but also certain progress and victories to rejoice in, because some people in this country haven't moved on and would like to erase the mention of all of this and pretend like it never happened. I'm so thankful the NBA has a Pioneers Game now to honor Earl Lloyd, Nat "Sweetwater" Clifton and Chuck Cooper, and now, more will know their stories.
Here are videos on Isaac Woodard's life.
I also agree with one person in the video who said names of bases named for Confederate people that one of them should be renamed for Isaac Woodard. I think it would be most appropriate to have the next Democratic President rename Fort Bragg as Fort Woodard and to give Sgt. Woodard a posthumous Medal of Freedom.
While the felon is rightfully getting dragged over this, don't forget
- Grocery prices are up
- Healthcare costs are up
- Tariffs are putting screws to people
- The debt is higher
- Job cuts and layoffs increased in January
- Immigration enforcement entails detaining citizens, people who came here the right way, killing citizens, lack of due process, lack of judicial warrants, no masks and body cams
- All while the rich get even more richer and another round of trickle down fails
Stay locked in on this other stuff, too. Vote Blue 2026.
Sadly, I've become desensitized to the felon's nonsense
The video of the Obamas, while disgusting, while awful, is not shocking to come from you know who. It would be more shocking if the felon actually denounced the video of the Obamas than if he never posted it.
And this continues on and on and on and on because not enough people have the fortitude to say the word, No.
This is also why I paid little-to-no attention to the cult leaders legal problems during the Biden years and didnt get emotionally invested into it. Why? Because I knew somehow, some way, the cretin would get away with it.
And here we are now.
According to Grok on Liam Ramos and Family
- The family came here legally in December 2024, seeking asylum and entered through a port of entry
- There is no order of deportation at the time of detention
- There are no documented crimes committed by the father
Yet, seven members of our own party voted to give ICE-Is *more* money yesterday.
You want immigration enforcement? You want people to enforce the law and deport people here illegally? Do it with trained, qualified personnel who know the law and are accountable without masks and wearing body cameras. Demilitarization must happen.
Those goons and the White House need to be in prison.
