46. Why do I care what Carville says?

He’s married to Mary Matlin so why does his judgement matter to me? They only put him on The tv machine to stir stuff up, but in my judgement he’s just a Roy Cohn/Lee Atwater wanna be anyway. His type of campaigning should be history. He’s an old fart that lives in terror of our party becoming even slightly more progressive.

You’re giving him way too much credit.

Are we really going to spend the next eight months paying any attention to what Bernie says. He may not be ready to concede out of respect for his followers but he knows, they know, everyone knows it’s over. Even if he says controversial stuff, he’s just not relevant any more, unless you make him so.

The fat lady has sung. Do you not know this?
