Yes, I wondered about this post from Patrick. Was he pointing out that the Kurdish Leader was "inflating the numbers" to get more money and weapons from USA? And, Patrick was, in a way, putting this out their to let "readers" come to their own conclusions?

Or, was Patrick warning "readers" that this is going to be a very long drawn out War with US and our Allies Taxpayers money being drained to defend the Kurds to fight ISIL.

One thing I "think" I know is that none of the Cockburn's have been Pro-War in their writing.

So....I'm thinking this is a warning that Kurds are asking for more Arms, Equipment, Money and he's wondering which countries will "step up to the Plate" for MORE...and what are the consequences.

That's my read...whatever......Who knows?.....we just deal with it..and, the consequences.

But, good to read reporting from other views.....always.
