some on the left have a tendency to turn a blind eye to the obvious rather than offend someone's precious beliefs.

Yes, there are moderate and liberal Muslims/Christians/Jews etc. But we aren't just going to sing Kum By Ya and make it all better. We need address that these terrorists are driving by their beliefs. Take religion out of the equation and their motives start to crumble.
