21. Late reply, but the answer is yes, "they" seriously do want the Rapture to happen ASAP.

The very fervent fundies literally believe that going to heaven is more real than life on earth, and their job is to be among the Raptured to help their God restore Heaven on Earth.

"Rapture comes, we go to heaven, God kills the non-devote people on the Earth, turns it into paradise and we go back."

I have listened to this crap from people down here in the South.
It is frightening how much they believe it.
