so is an overheated planet close enough to "fire" that we can say that the Bible had it right? This seems to be the way things go with stories in the Bible.

And if that is the case, are these people just fucking with us? Do they WANT it to happen so that the Rapture will come quicker and they can be with God, fighting the good war? (Same as why the Zionists want Israel to gain all of their historic land?)
