Now I've heard it all. [View all]

Well, not really, because every day, I hear more incredible beliefs. But this one is so bad that it is scary to think that someone said this seriously.

Listening the talk radio, and they were talking about man-made climate change. And how it is impossible for man to change the climate.

A man called in to enlighten all of us listening. The scientists are all wrong. In fact, the only science that we need is in the Bible. (Yes, he said that.) We should be teaching science from the Bible, not from science books written by man. If you read the Bible, you will find that God promised us that he would not destroy the earth again after the Great Flood.

I am sure that you will find many other scientific gems in the Bible. The Bronze Age/Iron Age was a time of much greater scientific understanding than we have today. Things like that women are unclean and cannot be in the company of men during their menstrual cycles. Or that shellfish and cloven hoofed animals should not be eaten.

I think we need a list of all the scientific facts in the Bible. I wish this caller would have expanded on all the facts in there. Just out of curiosity.
