However the origins of it are from islam. The holy books very strongly denounce women. To the point where many islamic men are made to be disgusted by women and only tolerate them out of necessity. The Afghan "boy play" is a result of this. It is considered better to engage in "boy play" than to sate your sexual urges with women.

In islamic majority cultures the women are killed while the men go free. There is frankly nothing redeeming about islamic culture.
