look how quickly public opinion on gay marriage turned around. There might be a tipping point in the next decade or so where enough people either lose their "faith," never get any (e.g. young people), or know enough atheist/agnostics that they get more tolerant. Who knows, though. This country seems to have its head up its ass on a lot of things.
