he had to see through the illusions of life and grasp the hidden message before him. What was he supposed to do? He could feel the nature spirits around him--at least THEY answered his call--encouraging him and giving him strength. As soon as he felt himself filled with confidence the scene changed before him--and the naked women stood next to the tree upright--and their laughter rang out throughout the hills.
