but I don't give him much credit for playing the Cardinals out of the playoffs. Gannon is 2-15 in games without Murray and I think those 2 wins were against the Cowboys. I think the first year under Gannon backups played the Cardinals out of the playoffs and by the time Murray steps in they are already out of it. This is also when McBride proved he was the best TE from his draft class (he was a Keim pick though). Before that the Cardinals had Ertz who struggled to catch passes over his head and wasn't good at yards after the catch. I think an Eagles fan called him "No YAC Zach".
Brissett does have chemistry with Michael Wilson so Wilson proved he can play at the NFL level. I think Marvin Harrison Jr can be a very good player but he had drops and chemistry problems with Murray. The biggest difference with the receivers after Murray went out is they actually started catching the ball.
I know the injuries at the RB position led to a pass first offense but even Demercado is good at scoring long distance untouched touchdown runs as long as he doesn't toss the ball before he scores. I would run the ball more often. The offense is too predictable as it is but at least Brissett threw to McBride more often in the Houston game.
As far as the defense they drafted a lot of defensive players especially in the first couple of rounds. I think the 2 offensive players Paris Johnson and Marvin Harrison will work out but this organization is showing they are terrible at player development when you consider how many busts are on the defensive side.
