They are the ones ultimately responsible for why the Cardinals rarely have winning seasons. He is the one that hired the Titans GM who is constantly in rebuilding mode even though we had a franchise quarterback. The GM is the one who hired Jonathan Gannon whose team seems to be regressing in his third year. They also have a former Browns offensive coordinator in Petzing. The Cardinals basically have the Titans GM & the Browns offense. Take a look at Gannon's record with Murray and compare that record to when he doesn't have Murray.
Before Murray had that mysterious serious ending injury the Cardinals were on their way to a 3-2 record so the team always had a chance to win the game but he really hasn't had a full season. I remember Gannon's first year Murray started the season on IR and he returned halfway through and was able to win some games including on the road against Pittsburgh and Philadelphia.
I don't want to see the coach and GM to come back and if we start over with a new QB I don't trust the Cardinals organization to be able to develop that player since we are having a tough time developing players especially on the defensive side of the ball. If they do release or trade Murray then they are right back to rebuilding mode and there goes great players like Trey McBride to other teams.
I don't see Brissett as the future. He isn't as good in the red zone and the offense is too one dimensional. Maybe his play action would work if the Cardinals actually ran the ball but if Murray goes I hope he finds a team where he will get playing time.
