... that's rooting for the Buckeyes to beat Michigan, prior to game-time, to give them an extra psychological advantage against the Wolverines?

I'm not sure it's necessary, but it worked for both Iowa and Purdue when they upset the Buckeyes in 2017 and 2018, respectively.
