The racist and misogynist "christians" come out of the woodwork at the drop of a candidacy. I rarely post since I most stories are pretty well covered and I am not a keyboard warrior. I was actually shocked, (which is really hard to do for a 76 year old) when some pendejo pulled out the "Authentic Christian" trope. Which is like the "no true Scotsman " crap and claimed that no black woman could get elected and that I am ignorant. What a load of Christo-Fascist crap. Reminds me of Mark Twains comment that man is the only animal with a true religion, all 200 of them. A great candidate can win a race anywhere, including Texas if they show the fire and can get out the vote. Beto was right. Texas is not a red state. It is a non-voting state. Of course Mexico ( about a hundred yards from my house) elected a Jewish woman President. I just hope she remembers what Jim Hightower said: "There is nothing in the middle of the road except a yellow line and dead skunks."
