How is everyone doing?

11. We are placing our housemate in dementia, assisted living on July 6.

Three of us own the house and have lived together, off and on since 1982. She is in poor health and 'sundowning." If she falls, we cannot pick her up.

So, we are moving her to assisted living, "memory care." Between now and 7/6, we need to set up dialysis care, 8 replacement physicians and God knows, what else. We will get the requirements from the facility in this week's mail.

While we know its for the best, there are guilt feelings about putting her at risk of dying from stress of the move, and possible C-19. N.J. nursing homes have been hit pretty hard with C-19, although this one had no exposure.


It sucks.
