Seen a gun owner advocate for gun control other than removing howitzers from playgrounds sort of nonsense.
I have had hundreds of conversations over the years about guns and it's never happened. There's always an excuse that explains away why removing guns isn't the answer.

I'd love a constitutional amendment removing all guns from the public and from the police - except for swat type groups.

As for the idea that all dangerous items are created equally - that's just silly.
That's your opinion. Mine is that all things that are dangerous and potentially fatal ought to be given the same due respect.
