13. I've hauled more than one male friend out of harm's way.

Also helped a woman if/when she needed it.

I've lived alone for most of my life. I look carefully before I leap into action cause usually there is no one to watch my back, until recently.

I was an abused child so I find it impossible to trust anyone to watch out for me. The thing that helped me the most was when a Native American gifted me with these words: Forgive yourself for not forgiving those who who have harmed you. I cried many tears over the years before and after his gift. I'm happier now because of his kindness.
