that their penises are dirty and undesirable things.

Girls, on the other hand, are taught that their genitals are desirable gold to be protected from dirty boys.

Men = dirty and undesirable.
Women = golden treasure.

Of course there is some exaggeration in this to make a point, but I think it has a lot of truth.
