But, realistically, it will get worse in the next 2 to 3 weeks, as more people get it and those who have it now become critical.

I am not in NYC, but Rochester and Buffalo have become hubs of infection outside of NYC. I am in the Buffalo region and there are confirmed cases in my community, as well as several unconfirmed people in quarantine for observation.

It is scary because I am a senior with health issues. But not much I can do besides keep to myself and wash often. Poor hands are getting raw. Good thing I also have a lot of skin lotion.

Lately I have been wondering what will happen after the peak. People will want to go out again, but it still won't be all clear yet.

Local nursing schools are graduating seniors early this spring so they can join the health teams that are so badly needed now. But no ceremonies. Not possible with social distancing.
