In reply to the discussion: Teri Garr, Star of 'Young Frankenstein' and 'Tootsie,' Dies at 79 [View all]proud patriot
(101,153 posts)60. this one hits hard for me
Many years ago when I was a kid , my dad with his new pilots lisence
and I flew from Concord to Ukiah for a fun outdoor weekend of hiking etc.
Well the weather didn't cooperate and it rained the whole weekend .
So we went to the movies and saw Young Frankenstien 3 times over
the 2 days . "it could be worse , It' could be raining" became our positive
mantra from then on .
So losing Terri Garr Today hits really hard .
Seems silly to cry for someone you never met but here I am crying.
