This only confirms my belief that the concept of the President as a singular person is quaint and outdated.

The job has grown so much that it can only be described as a team.

The person of the President can certainly pick and choose what his or her involvement will be in various aspects of domestic and foreign policy, but as to the abounding rest the President is a speech reader and a signing machine.
