If however you are coming to a stop sign and put your foot down to rest on the curb and the curb isn't exactly where you thought it was ...or if you have to go off the sidewalk to let someone in a wheelchair get buy and you misjudge the depth of the drop off. Yeah, it's quite possible to fall off your bike without it being a balance issue. And trust me, at 78 I ride very leisurely.

Thanks but we are talking about walking on a treadmill and other forms of exercise.
