It is difficult to discuss anything with you. Don't you see, that just because gays may choose to stay in the closet, doesn't mean that they enjoy some super privilege? Do you honestly think that gay people enjoy their second class status and make choices based on if they can pass or not?? There is something that is called the human spirit, and yes, gay people long to be just themselves the same as you. It comes from within, not without.

If the fascists truly gain power, being gay will quickly become a major threat to our existence. One day, they will execute gays, the same as certain countries overseas do. It's chilling. And, I submit that they will come to arrest me before they come to arrest you. And, it still won't have anything to do with being White. It is my experience that a Black male is valued more than a gay, white female. So, while you feel that you are at the bottom, I also feel that I am at the bottom. The difference between us is that I don't hate straights, while you are afraid of and hate Whites.

I understand what you are saying, and respect your right to feel what you feel. But, you are not the only one. What can you do to empower yourself? GOTV. Don't say it is a waste of time. In November: VOTE. They don't have to like you. They just have to count your vote.
