Getting upset because people are saying that SOME white people behave badly. Going on the defensive because you're not one of them.

I'm glad you're not one of them. That's fine. But SOME white people are racist. SOME white people are violent. SOME white people have no scruples about killing black people.

It's as if you want to believe that MOST white people are good people. ALL white people benefit from white privilege. The ones on the left and the ones on the right. And MANY white people don't want to give that up.

Your defensiveness suggests that you do not want to accept the fact that MANY white people are going to try to hold onto their privilege. Some actively, some violently, and some just by voting Republican. 89% of Republicans are white and 43% of registered Americans are Republican. So, about 40% of the country is white and Republican, a sizeable minority. Only 27% of the country is white and Democrat (only 60% of the party is white.). MORE white Republicans than white Democrats. More white people voting in support of Replacement Theory (even if the only reason they are Republican is because they are pro-life).

You are in the minority. So, when we point out the FACT that there are MANY white people voting in such a way that it supports Replacement Theory, we are not spinning things. We are not making things up. We are not giving anecdotal evidence.

So, its nice that you will fight for us. But many white people will fight against us.
