(8,103 posts)Racism is a two way street. Nothing sadder than reading how people are separated into their skin color. If you can't see how racist that paragraph is, then that is sad for you.
And, yeah, it is anti-female when you write that women will be passive-aggressive alongside their white masters, I guess. I think that women can take a direct, proactive approach to fighting fascism.
If you think that it is okay to label people like this, then that is a problem. But, I see a further problem when you identify "Karens" as being some people to fear. They are not. NO FEAR of fascists should stop you from activating in a positive way. Fear of the other side can lead to dreadful problems. If you want to talk about how fear of the other side can intimidate a vote, then fine. It isn't helpful to fan the flames of bigotry against white women, when the white woman standing there with you is willing to bleed for you.
I am a white woman. I promise you, I will not be passive-aggressive in any civil war that comes for either one of us. We are on the same side. I plan to fight: for you, for me, for my country. But, don't tell me that because I am white, I will ultimately betray the ideals that I was raised with. When you see me, you will feel a tinge of fear that first meetings always hold. You'll see my white skin and absolutely hate me, because that is what apparently you have been conditioned to feel. They own you thus. Don't let them. Evaluate each person as to their own merits.
And, I am sorry you are bipolar. It's a rough road to walk down. Stay on whatever meds you are on, or try naturopathy. Do something positive about that. Adapt. Overcome. It is possible to find an even keel.
We are going to win in November, and in 2024. We will win because we are going to stick together no matter what. There are more of us than them. Good people everywhere. WE WILL WIN.
