3. I do hope you change your mind

Editorials and Other Articles fills an important category. This is for outside written material that doesn't fit LBN, that one wants to post for Everyone, to get people's wisdom, feedback, and insight.

General Discussion doesn't fit, as that moves so quickly, and is not strictly for outside material.

Having to silo an article means it is by definition not for everyone.

I think of it as a newspaper. LBN is for the top of page one. Editorials and Other Articles is for interesting material that is on the bottom of page one, and the next few pages. It wouldn't fit to put those articles in other sections -- Sports, Style, Metro, etc.
