(8,738 posts)What or who exactly is "our party?" Is "our party" different from the Democratic Party"? If Bernie is a leader of some party other than the Democratic Party, why the Hell is he running to be the Democratic candidate for president?
So Bernie votes with us the majority of the times he votes. But he very often doesn't vote at all, which is a dereliction of his duty as a senator.
I voted for and supported Bernie in the 2016 primary, but now I view that as a mistake. This latest bullshit--sending his surrogates out to accuse Vice President Biden of being a pedophile, for Christ's sake!--is beyond the last straw.
Either Bernie is a stealth Socialist Workers Party stooge (he was an elector for them in the '70s) or he's a Russian troll, or he's a deluded narcissist who sees himself as the end all be all of American politics. Whatever the case, he is now doing way more harm than good--and I wonder now, given his (lack of a) record as a legislator, if he's ever done much good at all.
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
