Democratic Primaries

(1,089 posts)that the Democrats have a rare gift horse in Joe Biden. He is a true-blue diehard liberal who for whatever reason is also acceptable to many in the middle...moderate and even conservative Dems and Indies and some Trump-hating Republicans. Whether they support Joe despite him being to their left because they believe he is trustworthy, perceive him as a good empathetic soul or they just despise Trump is somewhat irrelevant...a vote counts the same regardless of the reason it was cast.
Instead of appealing to a somewhat fringe element on one extreme of the political spectrum seems to me the Dems ought not look a gift horse in the mouth and just run with him as is. Republican strategists are watching Biden like a hawk at the moment to see how much he ends up conceding to Bernie in order to woo some of his unreliable supporters and they will use this as ammo to hammer the middle during the GE campaign.
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
