I may be cynical but is O'Malley doing anything besides running for president?

I see much of this hankering for the next male president 4 years before the election as akin to the Great White Hope in the Boxing world way back when.

The worst of these candidates to me was John Edwards-he used to go around making speeches about the factory workers and growing up poor, served a term in the Senate and left-made more speeches about factory workers, built a humongous house, shook down a super rich heiress to cover up his tawdry affair, made more speeches about factory workers and growing up poor....

How did John Edwards get to be on a Democratic national ticket, and then run again for president???

We are in a national crisis, our form of government is under attack by a foreign power and I just cannot see O'Malley as having any heft whatsoever.

He. did do the male presidential candidate thing by strolling shirtless somewhere in the last primary cycle.

Yes I guess I am cynical Maybe someone from Baltimore can enlighten me-but I think we should be looking for an Angela Merckel.
