flowers. Today I snatched the top off of some young stinging nettle and threw that in the bucket. The plants are thrown in a 5 gallon bucket, covered with water, and bubbled for 2-3 days - periodically I take a piece of plastic pipe and smoosh everything up, break it up a little.

(Weeds take on a whole new meaning when you use them as "dynamic accumulators" of nutrients.)

I strain it with a pillowcase and dilute it until it looks like weak tea. then I use it for a foliar spray with a little rosemary, most times some neem oil. Stops spider mites and powdery mildew. So far...

Use it for watering, diluted a little less, on Friday night, and again on Sunday to water and add Neptune's fish and seaweed.

Next up, fermented weeds as fertilizer.
