5. Clark was targeted all season.

And the WNBA, that nobody had even heard of, stood by and watched all . . . season . . . long.

Clark was literally bulldozed on many occasions, and fouls usually weren't even called. If the same acts had occurred on the sidewalk, the perpetrators would have been guilty of assault and battery.

The WNBA desperately needs Caitlin Clark. Clark does not need the WNBA.

But Clark, at 22 years old, showed incredible maturity and grace in taking the best shots the WNBA thugs could come up with and never backed down or made excuses. She just kept playing basketball.

I hate the WNBA's racist, thug style, but I love Caitlin Clark's basketball skill, so I tolerate the former so I can continue to appreciate the latter.
