Update on Dad [View all]

Two of my sisters and I sat down w/ mom & dad yesterday afternoon to give Dad the news about his CAT scan. His GP had told us that the next step would be for him to bring the images to an oncologist and let the oncologist take it from there (as far as verification and/or treatment) and yesterday Dad agreed that's what he would do.

As of this morning, Dad has changed his mind. He said he was afraid that if he went to see the specialist that they might not let him come home. We tried to assure him that they could not hold him against his will, but he said since he was feeling OK for the time being that he was going to hold off.
