You need to give a little info. Are you type 1 or 2? Do you take oral diabetic meds and/or insulin? Are you testing your BG and is is running high or low?

If you take insulin that will need to be adjusted carefully. Have you contacted your doctor's office for advice? Sickness by itself can cause a rise in blood sugar, but not eating can cause it to drop. So you need to be checking your sugars. If your sugar drops below 70 mg/dl you will need to drink some regular soda, not sugar free. That will raise the blood sugar.

Here's a list of foods to help out on sick days, notice none are sugar free:
Clear broth soups
Gatorade (or some sports drink with electrolytes)
Milk (I would avoid milk when nauseated)
Clear Fruit Juice
Soft Drinks (be sure to avoid caffeine)

Gelatin
Saltine or Club Crackers
Oatmeal
Graham Crackers
Popsicles
Applesauce
