My own favorites have always been his darker roles, I must admit.

One of his least remembered - but no less memorable - roles was as the fictional CIA director Bob Blair in Dreamscape (1983) - a character probably based at least in part on George H.W. Bush.

Plummer was at his sinister best; worth the watch if you haven't already.
