immigrants BECAUSE they think these things are hurting their way of life. That is so far off the mark that it daunting to figure out how to get them on the mark, but you're insistence that racism isn't largely a component of social engineering, in large part for somebody's economic reasons, is just not correct.
Give them a truthful economic message. Give them one that erodes their fears of things they shouldn't be afraid of and show them the face of their actual enemy. Not only does that process do some of the dismantling of racism in itself, it takes away that limbic brain reaction to talking about race and racism. It's no longer a matter of survival to cling to those racist notions.
