2016 Postmortem
In reply to the discussion: A few observations on "progressives" I've noticed from this election [View all]JoeOtterbein
(7,791 posts)79. Now you expect us to be against progressives? Really??? SAD!!!!!!!
BTW, Hillary lost in '08 because of her hawkish views. That should have been enough for us to vote against her in the '16 primary. But power seems to have been the only reason we elected her instead. Then we lost against a pervert! Sounds like we are being told to repeat history and lose again!

We are in for a battle. The Progressives I know were active in marching for civil rights in the 60's

Actually he doesn't think any of those things, but apparently simplistic thinking is popular now.

HUH? They are the enemy if they want to take away women's rights, because they disagree with us.

If you think Bernie is happy with Trump being elected, then you obviously don't know who Bernie is.

I'm not talking about all progressives, just a group that I know on Facebook who call themselves

When one of our allies need our help which requires some sort of military aid what do we do?
