There is a hipster phenomenon of folks working urban streets in pairs, wearing colorful t shirts, getting you to sign up for ongoing monthly charitable donations. The charity receives about 10% of the donation, the rest sustains the operating expenses of getting that 10, including paying the people asking for donations a healthy wage. People have known this for years, yet are happy to donate in this matter, with that level of efficiency, because it makes them feel good and $50/month for 10 years does not impact them. The causes are uniquely targeted at younger people with money. Not feeding hungry kids or wounded warriors, it is almost always a social issue. I fully expect an ongoing charity fighting Trump to pop up soon. And to be very successful.
