Her once she gets the job and I think this story really sums that up.

Hillary will never be the campaigner her husband or Obama is, or even Bernie. But sweet mother when she has the job...she gets that job done and done well.

People complain about how cold she is, unpersonable and guarded. Well ffs, she has been maligned continuously for decades - blamed for her husband cheating, criticized for staying with him, accused of murdering Vincent Foster, the Benghazi bullshit investigations. That alone is enough to make someone say fuck you. Add to that the unique pressures a woman in a position of power faces (too assertive = bitchy, paid less, men taking credit for the hard work, etc) and seriously, she can't win. The minute she gets "real" - like chokes up over something emotional for a constituent or about the work she does, and she is accused of being soft, hysterical female, or too emotional to do the job. Never mind the fact that at the drop of a hat, John Boehner cries like he just watched an hour of ASPCA commercials.

Yet no one doubts for a minute that she has the skills and qualifications to be president. She just doesn't make them feel warm and fuzzy. I say all of this as a former Bernie supporter (I was pro Hillary in 2008, just this election cycle I lean much more progressive) who never once had qualms about voting for Hillary. I was really torn during the primaries, on domestic policy matters alone I agreed more with Bernie, but I knew that based on experience, qualifications, and her dedication she would be an amazing President.

More stories like this need to be told...not just about Hillary, but also about the amazing work Planned Parenthood does. The term "humanizing" is sort of insulting, implying that she is something other than human, but the problem with being good and genuine about helping others means you don't run around holding press conferences everytime you help someone. Consequently, no one is aware you do it.

I swear if she doesn't win, something is really fucking wrong with America.
