13. Similar to my own practice

I sit about 20 minutes each day for Zen meditation. I'd let the practice slip for several years but started it up again about five months ago. It is easy to become discouraged if you think the benefits of meditation only come if you can turn off your thinking.

The benefits of meditation come to you by meditating. Sometimes during a session your mind becomes quiet. Other times it doesn't. Either result is just fine.
