1. Sierras here... had about 1" this mrning, calling for 4"-6" tonight

The temperature dropped 20+ degrees in less than 24 hours. It's not cool, bro.

I put extra seed out for the birds & critters, they need the fuel to stay warm. Some of the jays are still pretty downy & scraggly... Poor things.

And 2 days before this hit it was 70 and we had a mass butterfly hatching, they were everywhere... now I guess they are frozen


ETA: you should crosspost to General Discussion, I think this is also a climate issue
