It is so tempting to buy the line from woosters if you aren't paying attention. Running to Mexico and setting up their duck farms just to undermine real research.

Research with standards.

When you or someone you know is gravely sick you become desperate. And will look for any ray of hope, any out, and people will take advantage of that. Worst of all, the desperation make those of us who simply want to expose the frauds and see real science promoted, seem like the bad guys.

Like we are taking away hope, when in fact, all we want is to make sure that hope is real. Therein lies the real malevolence of quack science.
