5. My father was a choir member of an Episcopal or Anglican church on 3 continents.

As a child, we traveled where "The Company" sent him and his baritone base came through loud and clear, whether it was the tiny congregation of 60 or so in Alice Springs, the 200 attendees in Kifisia or the 500 or more on Christmas Eve in Rockville, MD, when the choir did "Noel". The second time the word "Noel" is sung, many choir masters will have the baritone(s) go high on the "EEEEELLL, part, thus, as the Boston Gay Mens Chorus does at the 3:03 mark;

In a choir of 10 or 15 members, it was always my dad whose voice shook the rafters.
