Is the King James bible. It was not an attempt to create an accurate translation in the vernacular of the day; it's intent was to emphasize the "obey your Masters" and "render unto Caesar" aspects of the Old Testament that was the foundation for the Divine Right of Kings, and thus the basis of the requirement for unquestioning obedience to the Crown.
