As the discussions range far and wide here I thought this was the best place. This is an audio play rather than just the reading of the book, as in audio book. I think you'll like it.

Earth Abides sounds familiar, I'll have to look it up.

We are disconnecting our cable TV and I've discovered free audiobooks as wonderful entertainment. We kept internet which comes with a standard package. I have a stack of books to read as well.

As odd as it may be, I've always enjoyed Gregorian Chants and find them relaxing. This may be because I don't know what they're saying and enjoy the human voice and the melody.

I always turn to Robinson for pure enjoyment and humanity. The present recommended audio comes with more than a few chuckles as well.
