3. Naw. Or rather, Gnaw.

Think about it. This kerfluffle will create the tiniest, tinnyest, touch of insecurity in those few working brain cells that populate the vast, dark, recesses of his mostly empty skull. Scientists will call and interview him, curious sorts will thank him, and normal people will laugh at his insane irrational beliefs. How is any of that a bad thing? Eventually, he will realize just how foolish he has been.

Over time, that gnawing sensation will change his ridiculous faith in fairy tales. It may take time, but it will happen.
