12. Many years ago, I was working as a carpet cleaner...

I went into a home that had one of those elaborately embroidered pieces on the wall. From across the room I could read, in big bold letters "[font size=4]O Lord..."[/font]. The rest was too small to see that far away. I mumbled to myself to just ignore it and do my work. As I worked my way across the living room carpet I got close enough to read the rest. It continued in smaller embroidered print [font size=1]"...won't you buy me a Mercedes Benz ---Janis Joplin"[/font].

The lady of the house, as it turns out, was a fellow atheist.
