2. I would worry that Satan will bring down vengeance upon the town!

I'm surprised since they believe so strongly in god that they don't seem to worry that Satan, who by all accounts, is damn near as powerful as god himself, is going to smite them mightily. If Satan is the bad-ass they claim he is, you don't want to piss him off either.
