Having experience with autistic people of all ages and those in the fields that treat them, I have come to conclude, with much agreement from the professionals, the same could be said for autistic individuals. Their unique perspectives and stances taken against contemporary society should not be considered a neurological disorder but an adaptation in response to their social environments. I perceive it as part of an evolutionary process to steer humans away from their self destructive tendencies.
