This figure includes respondents who said they avoided wearing clothing or displaying items that might identify them as Jewish, such as Stars of David; chose not to post content on social media that could reveal their Jewish identity or views on Jewish issues; or stayed away from certain places due to concerns for their safety or comfort as a Jewish person.

I think it needs to be considered if they were asked whether they engaged in those routines on a regular basis or not. Things like this can be tricky. I know I changed some of my behavior here, but apparently not enough and was harassed for it. I don't wear jewelry so not an issue. There is NO WHERE in my town that is remotely Jewish. I did, however, as I often do, wear Queer Jew clothes during Pride in a few places, including Tulsa. So, in all, I didn't change much, but did a bit.
