the "rebirth" of the sun after winter solstice etc, etc, etc....
same with the "crucifixion" in spring (equinox)
12 constellations, 12 disciples, etc, etc - the "halo" around heads in stained glass images etc is the "sun"

helios biblica (holy bible) is literally "sun book"
